Youth For Life Pro-Life Boot Camp is one of the best opportunities for young people to become involved in the work of the pro-life movement.
Pro-Life Boot Camp is for high school and home-schooled students ages 14 and up. Last summer (2009) more than 100 teens and adults participated in Pro-Life Boot Camp.
Activities include praying at Dallas and Fort Worth area abortion mills, talks from experts on the theology of the Body and pro-life issues, skits, pro-life testimonials, Mass and the Sacraments and volunteer projects.
Pro-Life Boot Camp needs Chaperones (cleared adults 21 and over) and Jr. Staff (cleared adults age 18-20) to help put on the event.

Boot camp cost is $99 with a $25 deposit. Half of the money you raise for the Walk for Life may be used to defray your retreat cost. It's that time of the year again for an announcement for the upcoming PHF WALK 2010 in Edison, New Jersey on September 12th @ 11:00am to raise money and awareness about Hydrocephalus, an incurable brain condition.

STORY NEXT:
As most of you know, my 5 year old son Cole has Hydrocephalus and has survived 13 brain surgeries to treat the condition and it's many problems. & On September 12th, we WALK for Cole and all children with Hydrocephalus in hopes of finding a cure. In 2009, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Congressman Leonard Lance teamed up to Sponsor a Resolution, (which passed in July 2009), declaring the month of September "National Hydrocephalus Awareness Month".
Hydrocephalus affects 1 in every 500 newborns, with over 1 million Americans suffering from it today, and costs the US over 1 BILLION a year in Medical Costs. In over 50 years, there has been very little advancement in treatment options. If left untreated, Hydrocephalus would be fatal. Registration is FREE and there will be plenty to do; Live Entertainment, Face painting for the kids, the IWF Pro-Wrestlers will be signing autographs and the New Jersey Devils Dancers will be there as well!!
